How to Always Maintain Self Motivation

Mental focus brings us achievement, happiness, and goal attainment. We have to learn how to be self-discipline in our lives because eventually we will look back and become discourage and unmotivated.

If you are working 70 hours a week, eventually you’ll get distracted and fall in the ploy of human society. Your peace of mind, health, and relationships will soon deteriorate. Will this mean I am selling my soul? It’s never selling your soul if your soul is embracing the hard work. IT does not mean “Okay I am going home after work and eating, stressing, and complaining  about work again”. YOU will take that leap of faith to exercise and build up your net worth. Have enough financial resources to meet your needs.

 

How do I put Self into Motivation

What is motivation? to achieve goals, have energy, and generally improve our quality of life. Motivation is what strive us when our ambition is saying I cannot do it today.

Having some sort of control is   remaining self motivated. There are three aspects of motivation that improve your personal skills, emotional intelligence, and business goals.

Four key aspects of motivation:

  •    Personal drive: This is the inner longing to attain and exceed certain standards
  •         Commitment: Commitment to personal as well as organizational goals
  •         Initiative: Initiative is the sheer readiness to act on present opportunities
  •         Optimism: Optimism is the ability to persist in pursuing

 

Living a Good Life is Creating Balance

We work our tails off everyday just to get by and with the concept of work/life balance has been increasingly talked about and emphasized in recent years. When any aspect of your life becomes too predominant, the other facets invariably suffers. Now your balance of life is out of sort.

What Action Do I Take to Maintain My Balance

Awareness: Making mental notes of changes in your environment, your attitude, and habits can be the first step to developing an action plan and upgrading the direction and quality of your life.

Making adjustments: Rather than just being a passive observer of your external world, consider taking specific actions to resolve problems. improve conditions, and restore feelings of contentment.

Action orientation: Setting positive intentions, writing down your goals, working on improving your self esteem, and focusing on your personal values (what’s important to you), are four ways to create a mental climate that lends itself to being proactive and action oriented.

About every human life form has a negativity bias, success and happiness demand that we be proactive in regulating our own thoughts, practicing self discipline,  developing assertiveness, and build habits that support our business goals and dreams.

Set Goals and Commit

There’s a saying “If we aim at nothing, it will be easy to achieve it”. We all need something to aim at in life. Knowing a sense of purpose and direction gives us strength. You will feel it happen to you. Become fully conscious of what you desire to be/achieve and creating goals is a piece of the puzzle of staying self motivated.

Set one month, 6 months, 1 year, five years, ten year goals and expectations in life. Stay committed, write your goals down everyday you’ll attain them much quicker.

 

Take Massive Action

Why do we lose our opportunities? Because we hesitated. It’s not just rushing to act; take a cautious approach because you just open a new life path. 

Develop courage to overcome the fear of not knowing what the future holds, risk management plays an essential role in ensuring you jump on the right opportunities, with understanding of the risk involved, knowing whether they fall within your ability to manage them.

Have a routine

Establishing a positive daily routine is both a self-investment and a way to do your best for the rest of the world. It also provides additional benefits, such as giving you structure, building forward-moving habits, and creating momentum that will carry you on the days when you feel like you don’t have the strength to carry yourself.

Following a daily routine can help you establish priorities, limit procrastination, keep track of goals, and even make you healthier. It lowers your reliance on willpower and motivation because, as “habits are action that you take on a repeated basis with little or no required effort or thought”

Have optimism and Positivity

The more we stay positive, the better we approach situations with the mind to succeed. Optimism is the ability to stay positive, be that person who looks at the glass half-empty.

Show some resilience as it will help you manage negative thoughts and challenges.

Generate More Energy

Learn to meditate and exercises as much as possible. Energy is essential of maintaining self motivation.  

Never Say No on Learning

If you ask all the experts on becoming successful they all can agree to one thing and that is to continue to learn and read books daily/monthly. Have ambition to learn more in every aspect of your life and work. You’ll generate a confidence level so high taking on new goals will eventually be a habit. 

Preach What You Learn

As you continue to motivate others it becomes contagious for you to be self-motivated. Have an open mind to share your views and ideas with your friends and colleagues.

Take a Leap Faith
